Cheers to the Rest of the New Year: Looking Back and Giving Back

It’s hard to believe, but we are officially one full month into the new year! I am so proud of what we accomplished in 2017. Sales from Wellington Toffee went to a number of organizations that we are fortunate to partner with.

What We Accomplished Together in 2017

With the support of our customers, we helped provide:

• Basic needs like school supplies, food, and toiletries to students in Davenport, Iowa
• A total of four annual scholarships awarded to students in Uganda
• School supplies, food, and clothing for more than 600 students in the Dominican Republic

Every purchase helped make this work possible, and we are incredibly thankful for everyone who supported Wellington Toffee throughout the year.

Our Goals for 2018

In 2018, our goal is to continue building on this progress and expand our reach to help even more people who are in need.

Our goals for the year include kicking off a new reading program and opening a baby pantry in Davenport, as well as developing a food distribution program in the Dominican Republic to provide monthly supplies to people who are struggling with hunger.

Finally, we aim to provide entrepreneurial capital for students in Uganda who are graduating and preparing for a bright future.
