By now, you already know that this spring we signed on to be certified vendors on The Knot and WeddingWire. Back at the start of May, we announced an initiative that would allow any engaged couples who sign up to have Wellington Toffee at their weddings to be entered for the opportunity to sponsor a child from JUNA Amagara for a full calendar year.
As a reminder, JUNA Amagara is a network of orphanages in Uganda that we have been supporting for years through sales of our toffee. They have close to 1,000 children in their care who have lost their parents to the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
We’ve decided to up the ante with a little social media contest… this week, we’re opening up the contest to everyone (not just engaged couples!). You can enter here and there are different steps that will gain you additional entries. The winner will sponsor a child from JUNA Amagara for a full calendar year AND will also win a full pound of Wellington Toffee in the flavor of his/her choice.
